Venture Capital

  • Abound: UK fintech Abound, focused on fair credit access, has secured a combined $1 billion in debt financing and Series B investment. Citi provided the debt funding, while GSR Ventures led the Series B round.

  • Atlan: Data and AI governance startup Atlan raised $105 million in Series C funding, reaching a $750 million valuation. The round was led by GIC.

  • XTEND: XTEND, a company developing an AI operating system for human-drone and robot interaction, secured $40 million in Series B funding led by Chartered Group.

  • Arbelos Markets: Crypto derivatives market maker Arbelos Markets raised $28 million in seed and debt funding, led by Dragonfly Capital.

  • Kognitos: Kognitos, a Generative AI platform for business process automation, completed a $20 million Series A round, led by Khosla Ventures.

  • RunPod: RunPod, a cloud platform for deploying full-stack AI applications, raised $20 million in seed funding, co-led by Intel Capital and Dell Technologies Capital.

  • Xona: Satellite navigation startup Xona raised $19 million in Series A funding, with Future Ventures and Seraphim Space leading the round.

  • Panax: Panax, an AI-driven platform for managing cash flow, secured $15 million in funding led by Team8 and TLV Partners.

  • Optix: XR technology startup Optix raised $15 million in a funding round led by Primavera Venture Partners.

  • Lagrange Labs: Blockchain computation startup Lagrange Labs secured $13.2 million in seed funding, led by Founders Fund.

Private Equity

  • Paramount Global: Paramount Global is negotiating to grant Sony Pictures and private equity firm Apollo access to its financial records as part of a potential acquisition.

  • Bain Capital: Bain Capital is in discussions to acquire education software provider PowerSchool, valuing the company at approximately $6 billion, including debt.

  • CVC Capital Partners: CVC Capital Partners is set to acquire up to a 30% stake in Hempel, the Danish parent company of luxury British paint brand Farrow & Ball, in a deal exceeding $3.6 billion.

  • John Wood Group: UK engineering company John Wood Group declined a $1.8 billion buyout offer from Dubai-based competitor Sidara.

  • Digital Realty Trust: Data-center real estate investment trust Digital Realty Trust raised $1.5 billion through the largest follow-on public offering (FPO) in the U.S. since March.

  • Hindalco Industries: Indian mining company Hindalco Industries, a subsidiary of the ABG conglomerate, is contemplating a $1.2 billion initial public offering (IPO) for its U.S. aluminum products subsidiary, Novelis.

  • Proficient Auto Logistics: Proficient Auto Logistics secured $215 million in its initial public offering (IPO), priced at the midpoint of the marketed range.

  • Silver Lake: Tech-focused private equity firm Silver Lake secured $20.5 billion for its seventh private equity fund, shifting its strategy back to large-scale acquisitions.
