Prolific Machines: Prolific Machines, a four-year-old startup from Emeryville, CA, pioneering a unique photomolecular approach to cell manufacturing for industries like cultivated meat, raised $55 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Ki Tua Fund, with Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Mayfield, SOSV, Shorewind Capital, Darco Capital, Conti Ventures, and In-Q-Tel also participating.
Fizz: New York-based Fizz, a three-year-old startup offering student debit cards, announced a $14.4 million seed funding round led by Kleiner Perkins, with SV Angel, Y Combinator, and New Era Ventures also investing, among others.
HYPR: HYPR, a New York company established 10 years ago, which uses FIDO passkeys to eliminate the need for passwords, has raised $30 million. The funding round was led by Silver Lake Waterman, bringing the company's total raised to $127 million.
